Most people you meet online are lovely, genuine people. Everyday a lot of people successfully connected through MannaMart.  Of course, there will always be the few bad eggs out there, just like in the real world.

The number one thing to remember: Always meet with whoever you’re dealing with face to face, which is an easy way to avoid any potential scams.

Make sure you see the items you are supposed to buy and ask for proof of ownership. Take someone along to go with you and don’t take a lot of money with you on the first visit. Pay by cheque if possible and take possession of the goods immediately.

Don’t pay anyone who claims to be intermediary between the seller and you; deal directly with the owner of the goods or services.
